Minimum Wage
The Government has announced new National Minimum Wage rates to take effect in October 2010
The Government has accepted the recommendations of the Low Pay Commission to increase minimum wages. The new rates will be:-
- 21+ £5.93 per hour (currently £5.80)
- 18-20 £4.92 per hour (currently £4.83)
- 16-17 £3.64 per hour (currently £3.57)
